Encompass Care is recruiting a Registered Service Manager to lead one of our residential services in Sherbourne, supporting individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and behaviours that may challenge.

This is a key leadership role, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care and full regulatory compliance.

Salary: £32,000 – £33,000 per annum
Contract: Full time, permanent

Role overview:

You will be responsible for the overall management of the service, leading a dedicated team and ensuring safe, effective and high-quality support at all times.

Key responsibilities:

Service Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring person-centred, safe and effective care delivery

Quality & Compliance: Maintain CQC compliance, safeguarding standards, and internal quality audits with a focus on continuous improvement

Team Leadership: Lead, develop and support staff, promoting a positive culture and best practice

Care Planning: Ensure high-quality, individualised support in partnership with individuals, families and professionals

Operational Management: Oversee budgets, occupancy, reporting and on-call responsibilities

About you:

Experienced leader in learning disabilities and complex needs services

Strong knowledge of CQC standards and social care regulations

NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)

Confident communicator with strong leadership and organisational skills
