Encompass Care, committed to transforming the lives of those with learning disabilities and mental health needs, is seeking experienced professionals to lead our teams as team leaders across various services in Dorset. This role is crucial for providing exceptional care and support, driving operational leadership, and managing our dedicated staff to meet and exceed the needs and aspirations of our service users. 

 

As a team leader, you'll play a central role in managing and inspiring our teams to deliver compassionate, high-quality care. You'll be responsible for fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration, ensuring our services surpass the expectations of our users and regulatory standards. 
 

Our offer to you:   

Location: across the Encompass Care 

Hours: 37.5 hours per week 

Pay Scale: £14.84 

Contract: Permanent

About You: 

Leadership Excellence: demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams, enhancing service delivery. 

Professional Expertise: Solid experience in social care, particularly with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs. Prepared to attain or have QCF level 5 or equivalent. 

Operational Acumen: Skilled in budget management, workforce planning, and regulatory compliance. 

Strategic Thinker: Proficient in overseeing operations, implementing service improvements, and managing change. 

Communicator: strong interpersonal skills to maintain positive relationships and promote teamwork. 

Adaptable and Resilient: Flexible, capable of handling dynamic environments and shifting priorities. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Lead and manage teams, ensuring the delivery of care that aligns with our mission and exceeds user expectations. 

Implement personalised care plans and foster an environment of co-production and high-quality service. 

Oversee compliance with regulations and governance, ensuring a safe and supportive setting. 

Drive continuous improvement and innovation in care provision. 

Collaborate with teams and external stakeholders to coordinate comprehensive support services.

Actively support daily needs and community integration of people we support.

Maintain rigorous compliance with legal and organizational standards.

Collaborate with external partners for a comprehensive care approach.
